Last night, Motown icon Stevie Wonder appeared on CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman in support of his Songs in the Key of Life tour. He gave a rousing performance of “I Wish” to the studio audience at the Ed Sullivan Theatre and sat down with the host for an interview about the 40th anniversary of his tour’s eponymous album.
At Letterman’s behest, Wonder also performed “Fingertips Pt. 2,” his 1963 debut single as Little Stevie Wonder. In an amusing bit, Letterman handed the artist a “magical” microphone that made Wonder sound younger.
In addition to the performances, Wonder also presented his own Top 10 list on the Greatest Advantages to Being Blind, which included such conspiracy theorist-bating items as “You can act like you can see nothing when you really do.” Check out the full list as well as the musical performances below:
