Secret Friends Fest returns to Loving Touch with local and national talent

Secret Friends Fest, a local music festival created by Detroit-area tastemaker Jason Stollsteimer, will return to Ferndale’s Loving Touch (Friday and Saturday) for two nights of regional and national talent.

The 2014 Secret Friends Fest included 18 acts, featuring performances by: Silent Lions, George Morris & The Gypsy Chorus, The ILL Itches, Tunde Olaniran, The HandGrenades and others. The success of last year’s event inspired Stollsteimer to follow up with an updated lineup, featuring more local talent.

This year, the lineup will showcase local acts, such as Mexican Knives, Blaire Alise & The Bombshells, Little Animal, Valley Hush, Moonwalks, PONYSHOW (and more), in addition to national acts Twin Peaks (IL), Cold Blood Club (NY), Nox Boys (PA) and others.

The two-stage festival begins on Friday, January 9, at 8 p.m., and Saturday, January 10, at 8 p.m. Tickets are available online or at the Loving Touch upon entry for $8 per-day.
