Royal Oak’s largest summer music event, Arts, Beats & Eats, will return for its 18th year this Labor Day weekend (Sept. 4-7)… and its recently released 2015 lineup is chock-full of nostalgia.
Last year’s highly-promoted set from 90s pop-rock group Third Eye Blind hardly compares to this year’s roster, which features megastars of past decades, such as: Grammy award-winning 90s hip-hop trio Salt-n-Pepa, power-pop royalty Cheap Trick, 60s/70s rock group The Guess Who, post-grunge group Puddle of Mudd, and others.
More than 200 artists will perform on multiple stages, including local rock group Kaleido. The four-day festival is open 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Sept. 4-6, and 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Sept. 7. Admission is $3 until 3 p.m. and $5 until close. (Admission is free on Sept. 4 until 5 p.m.)
