Rolling Stones to perform at Comerica Park in July

After a 10-year hiatus (and some undeniable aging), The Rolling Stones will return to Comerica Park on July 8, as part of the legendary group’s upcoming Zip Code Tour.

The 15-city tour, which is scheduled to begin in San Diego and end in Quebec, Canada, will feature The Rolling Stones’ semi-original, and most well-known, lineup: Mick Jagger (vocals since 1962), Keith Richards (guitar and vocals since 1962), Charlie Watts (drums since 1963) and Ronnie Wood (guitar since 1975). Though both Jagger and Richards will be more than 70-years-old by the time of their Comerica Park performance, the two veteran frontmen remain highly-celebrated for their unrelenting showmanship and on-stage stamina.

The infamous “British Invasion” band first appeared in 1962, and have since created a legacy of iconic work, including 29 studio albums, 18 live albums, countless compilations and 46 completed tours (three of which became the all-time highest-grossing tours at the time of their performance). In their 53 years of music-making, the group has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide.

Tickets for the newly-announced tour will be made available on April 13, at 10 AM (EST), though American Express cardholders will be able to reserve pre-sale tickets as early as April 8.
