The fourth-annual Pig and Whiskey festival (July 18-20) has announced its three-day lineup, in addition to an impressive list of participating Ferndale-area eateries and cocktail lounges.

The free event is scheduled to feature more than 12 Detroit-area BBQ sponsors with food for purchase, including Slow’s Bar BQ, Red Smoke, Detroit BBQ and others, in addition to local bars, such as Imperial, New Way, Public House and others. Pig and Whiskey also includes local craft beer tasting and more than 50 varieties of whiskey, bourbon and scotch.

Live music will be provided by countless local acts, including: Goober & the Peas, The Ill Itches, Ryan Dillaha and the Miracle Men, The Whiskey Charmers and others, as E Troy St. is set to be blocked between Woodward Avenue Brewers to The Emory for performances – rain or shine.
