Detroit’s Movement Electronic Festival has just released the second and final phase of its 2015 lineup. With over 141 acts booked, this is the largest bill in the event’s history, and it could very well be the best yet, with its roster of homegrown and international stars.
Phase 2 boasts a bevy of Detroit acts such as Carl Craig, Eddie Fowlkes, JETS (Jimmy Edgar + Machinedrum), Kenny Larkin, Kevin Saunderson b2b Derrick May, Octave One, Model 500, Terrence Parker, The Saunderson Brothers, Calico, and more. Some other acts not to be missed include Hudson Mohawke, Joy Orbison, Maceo Plex, Lee Foss, Method Man, Squarepusher, !!!, Brodinski, Classixxx, and Phuture. These are all in addition to the stacked lineup of Phase 1.
Movement takes place at Hart Plaza on Memorial Day weekend, May 23-25, and has become the most celebrated music festival in Detroit. Don’t sleep on buying tickets, as it will sell out quickly. Daily tickets will available next week at the festival’s official site.
