For the past six years, MotorCity Wine has hosted a four-day party over Memorial Day weekend. Coinciding with the Movement Electronic Music Festival, the event attracts music fans from all over looking to escape the bustle of Hart Plaza and enjoy some classic American BBQ.
This year’s installment features a special four-hour DJ set from Detroit techno icon Carl Craig on Sunday night, as well as a special surprise guest earlier that afternoon and a plethora of local talent spinning during Saturday’s “Deep Crates” night.
In addition to the music, the entire weekend will feature a menu curated by chef John Breeland. Furthermore, a portion of the ticket sales are going to a good cause; all profits from Sunday night will be donated to the Detroit Institute of Arts.
