In support of Michigan’s famously-independent music community, Michigan Craft Records has organized the independent music event of the summer – Michigan On Mute Fest.
The three-day festival (8/29-9/1) will host more than 50 acts from around Michigan, and beyond, at Rocky’s Pub in Riverview, MI, for a display of hip hop, thrash-rock and everything in between. Michigan On Mute Fest will feature performances by Detroit favorites, such as: super-producer Black Milk, hip-hop duo Passalacqua, the Bruiser Brigade’s Zelooperz and Dopehead, rockers Build and Destroy, Child Bite and countless others.
(Bonus: In addition to an endless supply of Michigan artists, the lineup is topped with headlining acts from New York’s infamous hip hop duo Dead Prez, and legendary MC Kool Keith.)
Tickets are available online for $15 (day pass), $30 (weekend) and $75 (VIP pass with on-site parking, drink discounts and artist meet-and-greet opportunities). The festival begins on August 29 at 7 PM, and ends September 1 at 2 AM.
