After tying Bob Seger’s 36-year-old record for consecutive performances at DTE Energy Music Theater in 2013, Kid Rock has announced six back-to-back performances at the former Pine Knob.
Kid Rock made headlines when his sold-out, eight-show DTE run (Best Night Ever Tour 2013) offered fans $20 tickets, $20 tour t-shirts and $4 beers – a staggering deal for Detroit concertgoers. This summer will be no different… besides Foreigner becoming Kid Rock’s new opening act.
The upcoming string of August performances (8/7-8/15), which was announced on Tuesday, will uphold Kid Rock’s affordable ticket pledge, as seats between the second row and the lawn are planned to cost only $20. In addition to low ticket prices, lower fees, such as parking, will keep the total show price under $30.
Tickets will be made available via LiveNation and select Walmart locations on February 24 – the day Kid Rock’s new album First Kiss is released – but official Fan Club members will be eligible for early purchase.
