After a flood of Third Man Records/Jack White-related announcements this month, Jack White and Neil Young appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” to cut a vinyl record live, with the help of White’s infamous 1947 Voice-O-Graph machine.

As part of the on-air performance, Young performed Willie Nelson’s “Crazy” inside the analog sound booth, for which limited edition pressings were distributed immediately following the show.

The duo recently facilitated Neil Young’s latest album, “A Letter Home,” using the analog machine at its home at Third Man Records in Nashville. White spent more than a decade searching for the historic recording equipment, and more than a year refurbishing it to usable condition.
