Jack White’s Monday-night Lazaretto tour performance in Milwaukee ended with a surprise guest assisting on guitar for the White Stripes anthem “Seven Nation Army.” She was simply selected from the audience.
In addition to covering Lorde’s “Royals” during the concert, White surprised the crowd by calling a young woman onto the stage. The fan danced, donned White’s fedora, and was eventually equipped with an acoustic-electric guitar (or two). Following the finale, the elated fan took a bow, arm-in-arm with White himself.
White is scheduled to perform two shows in his hometown of Detroit next week: July 28 at the Fox Theatre, and July 30 at the Masonic Temple.
