When you think of the intersection of music and technology, your mind may immediately jump to such cutting-edge artists as Björk, Brian Eno, or Radiohead. But even a traditionalist like Jack White can exploit our brave new world’s possibilities.

After all, even though the Detroit rock icon launched a book publishing wing for his Third Man Records label this year, he also snuck a hologram onto the Ultra LP edition of his latest album, Lazaretto. Now, he’s put out a Third-D app that lets fans view shows in “immersive 360 degree, stereoscopic 3D” using Google Cardboard, a DIY virtual reality player compatible with Android devices.

Available performances include “Freedom at 21,” “Ball and Biscuit” from his recent Fenway Park show, and “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” from his recent Red Rocks show.

The app can be downloaded now but requires a Google Cardboard player for the full effect. A handful of lucky Nashville residents will get their hands on a limited edition Third Man Google Cardboard headset, as the label’s store will be giving them away to the first 75 Android users who purchase a copy of the Ultra LP version of Lazaretto today.

The app will also be demonstrated in store, though if you can’t make it in person, there is an explainer video below:
