Proto-punk icon and Detroit-area native Iggy Pop has released a music video for “Sunday,” the fifth track off his latest album. The Andreas Neumann-directed clip “gives fans an inside look at Post Pop Depression from its creation at Rancho de la Luna up until the band’s first public performance at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles,” according to a press release.
The grainy footage cuts between Iggy and his collaborator Josh Homme as they enjoy some favorite pastimes, before showing Iggy and his band performing “Sunday.” Watch the video below, and keep an eye out for a new biography on The Stooges as told by Iggy Pop, being released later this year through fellow Detroiter Jack White’s publishing label Third Man Books.
