Top 40 rap superstar Drake kicked-off his Jungle Tour with Atlanta rapper/vocalist Future in Houston last weekend, but saved something special for the tour’s second stop, in Detroit, on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old Toronto-native, who has sold more than 5 million records worldwide, debuted an intimate freestyle at the end of his May 27 performance at the Palace of Auburn Hills. It’s unclear who the a capella-style verses were directed towards, but the message was received – loud and clear.
Drake and Future will bring their Jungle Tour to Chicago, Montreal, Toronto and New York throughout May and June. Watch Drake’s impromptu freestyle from his Detroit tour stop and read the lyrics below:
