Motor City emcee/producer Chuck Inglish announced the reunion of Midwest rap-duo The Cool Kids via Twitter this week, as well as plans for a 2014 album release, titled Shark Week.

Fans are hopeful that a Shark Week tour coinciding with the album’s release will provide live performance opportunities for the group. The last project on which both emcees were featured as The Cool Kids was the duo’s debut studio album When Fish Ride Bicycles, in 2011.

After almost a two-year hiatus, Detroit-native Inglish and Chicago’s Sir Michael Rocks appeared together on Inglish’s 2013 track “Swervin.” The song is scheduled to appear on Inglish’s highly-anticipated debut solo album, Convertibles.
