Big Sean, the Detroit emcee responsible for this summer’s Hall of Fame, was in the giving spirit two days prior to Thanksgiving, when he and volunteers of the Sean Anderson Foundation passed out Thanksgiving meal supplies to less-fortunate Detroiters.

The 25-year-old rapper and his foundation brought turkeys, side dishes (including macaroni and cheese and stuffing) and coupons for discounted holiday purchases.

“We’re just giving back any way we can. This turkey giveaway was awesome,” Big Sean told Channel 7 WXYZ. “It feels good. It feels good to see people excited to see me, so I’m excited to see them as well.”

In addition to foundation volunteers, Big Sean recruited the help of his own mother, former Lions wide receiver Herman Moore,  Pistons guard Chauncey Billups and comedian Mike Epps, who is preparing for a stand-up performance Saturday, November 30 at Fox Theatre .

Currently, Big Sean is preparing for the beginning of his Hall of Fame European tour, which starts December 2, at Aberdeen Conference Centre in Aberdeen, UK. The Finally Famous crew-chief performed at Eastern Michigan University’s Convocation Center on Wednesday, November 20 as the last stop of his North American circuit.
