The recent water crisis in Flint has dominated regional and international news, inspiring athletes, public figures, and musicians to make cash donations and encourage bottled water donations to help city residents. In support of the city of Flint, a massive group of homegrown artists led by legendary Detroit DJ Bruce Bailey has announced a collaboration that is guaranteed to sell out immediately. The event, Detroit House & Techno All Stars in Support of Flint, will be hosted at electronic hot-spot TV Lounge on March 11, and feature performances by Bailey, Moodymann, Detroit Techno Militia, The Saunderson Brothers, Chuck Flask, Mike “Agent X” Clark, Big Sean, Nick Speed, and 24 others.
The six-hour event (8 p.m. – 2 a.m.) will be hosted between three separate rooms, in addition to a heated outdoor patio, and donate 100% of door profits to aid in Flint’s crisis. See the full lineup after the jump and visit the event’s Facebook page for more info.
