Since the release of her breakthrough mixtape Sell Sole, DeJ Loaf has been quietly dominating the guest verse circuit and building up massive amounts of hype for her new material. We got our first taste about a week ago with “Back Up,” a warning shot to groupies that also features a guest verse from fellow Detroit rapper Big Sean.
As of Friday, we’ve received the full picture, as DeJ has released the six-song EP #AndSeeThatsTheThing, which includes singles “Back Up” and “We Winnin'”. It’s her first major label release, and the increased production value has definitely elevated her sing-rapping style.
