After a slew of recent on-stage controversies (including an attack on Run the Jewels, a ballsy RiFF RAFF shoulder tap and a brutally-punished Lil Wayne bottle-thrower), Danny Brown is the latest to cross paths with a disrespectful concert attendee.
While performing in Glasgow, Scotland on March, 28, Brown excited his audience with an inclusive, a cappella segment supplemented by the crowd’s percussive participation. The short-lived exercise ended abruptly when what appeared to be a plastic cup of water hit the Detroit-native squarely in the chest.
Instead of asking his security to hunt down the culprit, or demanding a crowd-led, vigilante-style shakedown, Brown lets off a look of disgust, throws down his microphone and leaves the stage – ending the performance early.
