Hip hop’s newest super-duo PRhyme (consisting of legendary producer DJ Premier and Detroit rap icon Royce da 5’9″) participated in an online Q&A Thursday by utilizing Reddit’s popular Ask Me Anything (AMA) forum category.
Reddit, an endless forum for any subject under the sun (including countless music categories), provides open discussion and information for users interested in any given category or “subreddit.” The AMA category is known to draw celebrities, politicians and tastemakers for open dialogue with interested users. Past AMAs have featured: President Barack Obama, Bill Murray, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Louis C.K., Madonna, Robin Williams, Bill Gates, Snoop Dogg and others.
The PRhyme AMA drew questions from Reddit hip hop heads for both Preemo and Nickle, where topics ranged from PRhyme’s latest release to past solo projects, and everything between. Royce da 5’9″ addressed fan questions regarding his sobriety, Bad Meets Evil, his well-known interest in boxing
During the digital conversation, PRhyme outlined plans to release a visual accompaniment for every song on the self-titled project’s track list, in addition to revealing details of an upcoming PRhyme tour.
