After a brief teaser video, Detroit-rapper Royce da 5’9″ and DJ Premier have announced a collaboration project titled PRhyme, which will include countless high-profile features.
The entirety of PRhyme will be produced by DJ Premier, marking Premo’s first full collaboration album since his involvement in Gang Starr. In addition to utilizing only one producer, all samples will be pulled from works by American composer Adrian Younge: a first-time experiment for DJ Premier.
The album will include features by artists, such as: Jay Electronica, Common, Mac Miller, Ab-Soul, Killer Mike, ScHoolboy Q, Dwele, and Slaughterhouse. The project is expected to be released late 2014.
