As part of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s Fresh Detroit Sounds @ The Max series this fall, Detroit-area electronic superstar Shigeto has been scheduled to perform with a live ensemble.
According to the DSO, Fresh Detroit Sounds aims to showcase a “unique collection of concerts spotlighting new music performed by local artists.” Three of the four scheduled acts are from the Detroit-area, including: Shigeto, New Music Detroit (contemporary music collective including several members of the DSO) and Shara Worden of My Brightest Diamond. (Chicago-area Fifth House Ensemble will also perform.)
Tickets for each event, which will take place between September and October, range from $15 – $25. Those who buy tickets to all four performances will receive a special voucher, which will grant access to an upcoming Mix @ The Max performance of their choosing.
