The world’s largest music streaming service Spotify has announced that Detroit’s rap superstar Eminem is the “most streamed artist” ever, according to USA Today.
Data collected by Spotify shows that Eminem’s upcoming tour-partner Rihanna is the most streamed female artist of all time. Together the duo have hundreds of millions of streams combined, including 137 million for “The Monster” and 111 million for “Love the Way You Lie.” (The “most streamed song” is Avicii’s “Wake Me Up” which has approximately 235 million streams.)
Eminem and Rihanna’s summer 2014 Monster Tour is scheduled for August in only three cities: Los Angeles on August 7 (Rose Bowl), New York on August 16 (Metlife Stadium), and Detroit on August 22 (Comerica Park).
