The Right Brothers have done it again.
The duo’s new video-accompaniment for “Lights On Rider Anthem” features Doc Waffles, Eddie Logix and James Linck, along with countless cameos from various Detroit artists.
The Andrew Miller-directed visual piece showcases the CoOwnaz brand with appearances by: Doc Waffles, Eddie Logix, James Linck, Pretty D, Ryan Spencer (Jamaican Queens), Natalie Gersabeck, Jessica Merkle, vocalist Laura Finlay, Chelsea Harabedian, Gretchen Gruenburg, hip hop artist CF Hustle, Mister (Passalacqua), Christopher Jarvis, Mic Write, Blaksmith, DJ Dante Lasalle, Al Casinelli and The Right Brothers. Even Flint Eastwood’s Jax Anderson contributed to the video production.
The Jarvis-produced track, “Lights On Rider Anthem,” is an ode to broken interior car lighting.
According to Doc Waffles:
“An electrical malfunction in Eddie Logix Bonneville caused its interior lights to stay on pretty much all the time for a period of several months last year. We could have pulled the fuse or got it fixed but it’s not in the spirit of #CoOwnaz to diverge from the will of the Universe. So we were out in the streets riding dirty all summer, getting toasty in the Bonny with the lights on, because we have nothing to hide. We want you to see us behaving lawlessly.”
The video follows Doc Waffles, Eddie Logix and James Linck in a 1994 Bronco, touring the streets of Detroit. Highlights include: snow golf, disco ball interior lighting, an 80s-era “ghettoblaster” stereo and a never-ending supply of candles.
