Detroit producer/artist Mike Posner has released a video for his single “Top of the World,” which features Detroit landmarks, celebrity cameos and Motor City sports teams.

Posner is joined by fellow-Detroit artist Big Sean, who offers multiple verses on the new track while donning a Blade Icewood tribute t-shirt. The video includes appearances by Posner’s parents, students of Birmingham’s Groves High School, the song’s producer Diplo, Detroit Red Wings star Pavel Datsyuk, Sayitainttone, Jay John and others.

The video also showcases countless Detroit landmarks, including: Lafeyette and American Coney Island restaurants, Joe Louis Arena, Comerica Park, The Palace of Auburn Hills, Ford Field, the “Fist of Joe Louis” monument and the “Spirit of Detroit” statue. The two even stop to pose in front of Big Sean’s “Finally Famous” mural at Dexter Check Cashing near Sean’s childhood home.

“Top of the World” gives viewers a quick glimpse of downtown Detroit, as well as Posner’s well-established artist affiliations and credibility within the mainstream music community.
