Andre Drummond, forward for the Detroit Pistons, along with Pistons mascot Hooper, have been featured in a parody music video set to Eminem’s “Berzerk,” from his November release MMLP2. The Pistons promotional video is titled Hooper’s World: Berzerk and includes the authentic audio track from Eminem’s mega-hit.

Hooper, the mascot horse, takes the lead role as Eminem’s replacement. The character is featured in a b-roll collection of stunts from past Pistons games, mimicking rap-movements in front of a giant boombox-backdrop and dancing with Shannon Hogan from Fox Sports Detroit (FSN). Andre Drummond is present throughout the video, but plays back-up dancer to Hooper’s antics – much like Rick Rubin to Eminem.

The art design of the parody closely mirrors the 90s style of Eminem’s “Berzerk” video accompaniment with tie-dye negatives, Pistons memorabilia and giant cassette-powered stereos.
