The promoters of Toronto’s North by Northeast arts festival/conference (NXNE) have announced the 2014 initial performance lineup, which includes St. Vincent, Omar Souleyman, Juicy J and Detroit’s own Danny Brown.
The announcement arrived in conjunction with NXNE’s early ticket release package and the lineup for the festival’s interactive music-conference element (NXNEi). The interactive conference will feature talks from Pitchfork President Chris Kaskie, KP Swazy (Dat Piff), Oliver El-Khatib (co-manager of Drake and OVO founder), Chris Taylor (Last Gang Records) and Paul Rosenberg (Shady Records president).
NXNE 2014 (June 13-22) marks the 20th anniversary of the Canadian festival which highlights music, art, comedy and film.
